What the crow!
The Black Creek Deli was originally going to be Harrison's Main Street Deli. ( Named after our son, Harry! You might see him when you come pick up your food!)
Unfortunately, when we went to legalized our business name the county wouldn't let us use the name Harrison. Heather and Kenny ( Mom and Dad) then decided our mascot would be "Rob Crowe". Harrison always said hi to Rob Crowe everytime we would head into town, and with all the nature friends we have around here we decided on The Black Creek Deli and Cafe!
Our mission is to be a fully functioning Cafe and Deli that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. At the time, we are taking it slow and have started with catering and our weekly pop ups! We are a cold kitchen that makes as much as we can homemade ( as far as our dressings, condiments and more go!)
Heather and Kenny, are both 2006 graduates of Churchville Chili. Heather, a culinary school graduate from Johnson and Wales University in Miami Florida, has had the privilege of working alongside some of the world's top chefs and studied hospitality management at Monroe Community College.
With a passion for creating dishes that burst with flavor, Heather is set to introduce the community to her signature homemade cooking. Kenny, with his background working in various restaurants and an ardor for fine food, will be the face of the business, providing exceptional customer service and warmly welcoming each guest.
As they emphasize catering, they aim to expand into a thriving deli and cafe, establishing a beacon of culinary excellence and friendliness.
